The first Young Life club in Northeast Florida began at Lee High School in 1958. Called the "Best Deal Club," it officially became known as Young Life in 1960 under the leadership of Area Director Charlie Scott.
Since 1941, Young Life leaders have walked through life alongside adolescents and earned the right to be heard in an exhausting and exciting world. Click here to view our ministry locations.
Today, Young Life is a global organization with a local focus. Six counties in Northeast Florida operate 40+ programs each month. The Northeast Florida Growth Fund aims to increase that number.
Last year, area staff – in partnership with 189 volunteer leaders – took over 670 kids to camp. Whether at a school-year weekend retreat or week-long summer camp, kids of all backgrounds heard the Good News of Christ while making lasting memories with their friends.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
Give resources to start or sustain the financial foundation at the local or national level.
